Reflection
During the game, we were expected to find words that our lecturer said in the newspapers which was definitely hard and challenging. This is extremely hard as if we were looking for a needle in a haystack. Once we missed the word then we would have to read the paragraph again. The hardest part about this game is to form topic sentences using the word found. My group only found 6 words which makes it even harder to think about topic sentences.
I like this game eventhough it is hard and makes us running about just to stick a word. Eventhough hard, the game is quite challenging as it tests our focus when reading the newspaper for words as well as test our thinking skills. By requiring us to think about topic sentences with a limited set of words,we get to expand our knowledge in the sense of thinking out solid points relevant to the topics. This helps us to further understand the need to be able to think with the shortest of time and ensure it is relevent.
