Weird Sunday

It's a 'Sunday' yet I'm not feeling the things to be felt on my usual sundays.Sundays use to be a day of going out with my family and friends but it is as if everything is changed. Well,my parents are not here which is a reason.But now instead of going out with friends I'm stuck in my room listening to musics full blast and preventing myself from going crazy while I try to think of what to do with my assignments.Eventhough it is kind of freaky but i'm currently eating snacks and sweets and bitting it off bit by bit.

Is this weird? Trying not to become mental^^

Anyways,I am not progressing much and is a bit stuck in what i should do so i blogged for fun. Eventhough it's a sunday,my room is crowded with creepy crawlies that is somewhat cute. Here's the cute part if you have a great imagination like I do.

My very first summary

INTEGRATING SOCIAL NETWORKING TOOLS INTO ESL WRITING CLASSROOM:STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES BY MELOR Md YUNUS,HADI SALEHI & CHEN CHENZI

    By having Social Networking Services(SNS), the pros from the results shows that it helps students develop creative thinking skills,as well as broaden students' knowledge,increase motivation and build confidence in ESL writing.It also helps the students in brainstorming for ideas and exposes them to larger communities which helps shy students reach out.The usage of media helps the students to grasp a better concept in ideas needed in writing.For the cons,students tend to get distracted by other materials,the lack in equipment and limited access to the internet proves to be major cons.Furthermore, interaction time between students and teachers decreases,the time consuming process and accustomation to traditional methods of reading.

My experience:

In my experience as a student,I think this is not very practical as it contains a lot of disadvantages especially for places in Malaysia such as Sarawak which has a lot of rural areas.Thus,the cons are much more serious as compared to the pros.I've been to areas whereby electricity and internet coverage do not even reach which causes great dificulty in integrating this service.Furthermore,as a student and facebook user,it is very distracting especially when there are hilarious stuffs as well as other applications such as youtube which leads us away from the real purpose.

What I would do:(not sure about which part)

First of all,I will show to the students about the real purpose of having this integration of Social Networking Service(SNS).This is to prevent the students from being lead astray from their writing work.A specific room such as computer labs can be used to help intergrate this service as students can access the internet safely.Through internet safety,blocking certain applications from the students grasp prevents them from getting distracted by unnecessary applications.For rural areas,electricity as well as internet access must be available first.Thus,having the necessity needed,this integration can be applied.

A letter for me and only me^^

Dear me in the distant future,

                       Oh,who am I kidding. That is not me at all going dear this and that.  Yo me. What is up and about in the future? Please don’t give me those lame things saying ‘hey man.. the sky is up’.  I’m you and I know you too damn well.  I’m writing this letter to you as in a letter  from your past. This sounds so cool just like a blast from the past when you least expect it. The ‘me’ of now is still a freshman starting his first steps into  this big,big society known as ‘University’.  But hey,it’s totally fine. If you’re able to see this letter then I guess I must be living the life right now.  Well,it’s quite impossible for the future me to be poor right? Money is essential for you to own a computer or what high tech gadgets invented in the future rite?

                      Anyways,I know that you know  I like talking crap. So let’s cut to the chase.  I’m curious on what you’re doing right now and whether  you’re doing well. However bad or good it may be this will cheer you up. Hey I just wrote this,and this is crazy,but here’s the truth,this is you writing. You remember this? It’s a song you learnt in 2012 with the lyrics changed.You did quite a lot of crazy things. You’ve lived in the middle of nowhere,won some big shot competition,learnt a catchy tune. Loads of memories for a lame and sort of acting cool guy.  I’m trying real hard to cope with life but no worries.  I’ve met a bunch of friends who are damn cool,funny and great too.  I’m not sure whether  those friends are still with you in the future as I know you can be sort of a pain in the neck.. but hey… we learn in life rite? I hope the future you is in a different situation. With the stress right now, you might even be bald too.  But that is something I hope will not happen.

                     

                      Well,I hope when you see this letter it would remind you of the good times you had with you’re fellow TESLIANs and many other friends that you’ve made on the way to adulthood. The blog you all created eventhough you’re  some technology idiot. Yet, you guys had the best moments together.You’re even the class rep which is sort of a all against one sort of thing… The one moment where all eyes are on you saying ‘You.. hehehehehe…’ Scary eh mate? Well,that’s the least of my worries. Everyone is really nice and great to be with eventhough I’m a somewhat  of an oddball out of the bunch. I don’t mind being silly or what as I’ve learnt that life ain’t easy and all you have to do is smile and push on forward.

                         This is all I can say eventhough it’s mostly nonsense. But I know myself damn too well and I know that the future me knows what I’m saying. Hope this helps you feel better and move forward. Hey,’happy go lucky’ is what I want to practice in life as life’s too short to be stressed out and I hope you still use that concept to deal with stress and frustration. Peace out dude.
